Lakewood has 4 boats for hiring and can have up to 8 anglers.Peadar and Xavier ensure the service of a high standard and good knowledge of guiding for each group.

Carrickmacross is a centre for fishing.It is famous for pike fishing.Many Brittish customers are passionate by this activity.There are many laes around Carrickmacross town approx 55 lakes.Youwill never be short of getting to a lake in Cavan ,wich is on border of Carrickmacross as 365 lake in the Cavan county (one for each day of the year).The Eastern Regional Fisheries board help develop and provide access for the Anglers.All the lakes are the paradise centre for pike fishermen,and many lakes are than 10 mins  away from the centre of fishing.
The lakes have an average of surface of 10 hectares.Each day lake when guiding you will go to a different lake.You will receive all the information about each lake you go to by Xavier and Peadar.Everithing will be organised for you by Xavier and Peadar such as bring boats to and from the lakes,collection you from the lakes hiring of rods and reels or just to organise dead bait for you.Noting is impossible for you trip if there is anithing specific you require just ask one of us.

Lakewood B & B has been enterely renovated in 2006 and is located few meters from the centre of fishing.It is possible to organise packed lunches for your trip.Each day on your returnther will be tea/coffee aviable in the living room to unwind from the day events and to get ready for our next day adventure. The meals are taken in the dining room common, will allow you a rest well deserved after these long days with the large air.
